Dealer video ad tools compared
VinScroll and six other options dealers weigh for inventory video, compared on the same seven rows: what each makes, per-VIN coverage, inventory sync, who runs the ad spend, contract term, creative style, and reporting you can check. Every competitor cell links to the public page it came from. Where a vendor doesn't say, the table says so.
| Vendor | Impel | Flick Fusion | LESA | Covideo | Phyron | A dealer video agency | VinScroll |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| What it makes | Merchandising AI delivers five types of VIN-specific content on VDPs. Video Tour is the video piece: narrated tours built from 360 capture. source | Inventory videos from a phone walkaround, plus 360 spins, virtual test drives, video email and text, social retargeting ads, and Facebook Marketplace posting. source | Walkaround video for VDPs, Dynamic Facebook Ads, automated social posting, Google Business Profile live inventory, and the Dealer Video Suite for sales teams. source | Personal video messages your staff record: sales follow-ups to leads, plus video MPIs, reminders, and updates from service. source | Inventory Ads (short-form video ads for Meta, TikTok, and Google) and Inventory Videos for VDPs and marketplaces, built from your existing photos. source | Filmed and edited social content: vehicle walkarounds, short-form video for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, and lifestyle and delivery content from monthly on-site shoots. source | A branded vertical video ad for every unit in stock, run as paid social on Meta. |
| Per-VIN coverage | Video Tour footage comes from each car's 360 WalkAround, so coverage follows your 360 capture. Coverage follows how many cars your team films. source | Each car is shot on the lot, which LESA says adds "2 or 3 minutes" per car. It doesn't say every unit is covered automatically (checked 2026-09-30). source | "Every car in your catalog becomes a short-form video ad for Facebook and Instagram." source | Two of the three we checked work in monthly cycles: a monthly shoot, or "three ad units rotated monthly." About 15 minutes of onboarding, then hands-off. |

The Video Tour page doesn't say what happens on a price change or when a unit sells (checked 2026-09-30). source | For Marketplace listings, it posts inventory automatically, marks units sold, re-lists, and updates price and photos. source | Inventory uploads to Facebook automatically every day. The ads page doesn't say what happens on a price change or whether sold units leave the ads (checked 2026-09-30). source | Not stated. Questions dealers ask
How should I read this table?
Read across a row. Each row is one question a dealer asks in a vendor meeting. "Not stated" means the vendor's public pages didn't answer it on the date checked. The vendor may still do it, so ask directly and get the answer in writing.
What does "inventory sync" mean here?
The ads follow your feed without anyone touching them. A new arrival gets an ad, a price change updates it, and a sold unit stops running. A sold car still in an ad spends money on a shopper you can't sell to.
Who should own the ad account?
You should. When the campaigns run in your own ad account, the spend history and audiences stay with the store if you change vendors. If a vendor runs ads from its own account, ask what you keep when you leave.
How do I check a vendor's claims?
Look the dealership up in the Meta Ad Library. It shows every ad the page is running, so you can count how many units have their own ad and whether sold cars are still up. Then compare the vendor's report against your own ad account.
See it on your own inventory first.
We build finished ads from your live feed before you pay anything. Compare them side by side with what you run today.
